A client said, "I went to the Careers Office at my university to talk about my career options. The Careers Advice Officer asked, 'Well, have you decided which career to pursue?' Just a minute I thought, isn't an advice session supposed to be the other way round? She's supposed to advise me isn't she? Taken aback, I muttered something inane about the police force. 'Ah', she said, 'I've got some brochures on that!' She handed me a brochure and that was the end of the session."
