Career procrastination has consequences.
When I was in my early teens my Dad said to me one day when I was procrastinating over my worst nightmare, Latin homework, "Listen Michael, nothing ever happens until you do something - that homework won't do itself!"
Breathing and digesting lunch are amongst only a handful of things that happen without a conscious decision followed by some action.
Making rational and informed decisions about your career future is a smart thing to do, but "nothing ever happens until you do something", so not acting on the decisions you make is perhaps the least smart thing you'll ever do!
